If you want a cheap Chromecast and a deal to go with it, look no further than the Google Store! You don’t even have to buy the device exclusively from Google; you can purchase it from Walmart or Best Buy and the deal will still be in place.
This is the deal: you buy a Chromecast for $30 and get $20 in Google Play Store credits. You get the $20 worth of credits once you activate the device. Hurry up because we don’t know how long this deal will last. Happy shopping!
The fervor of Black Friday deals is upon us and US carriers are working hard on showing us just how great they are at making deals and discounts. After Verizon and Sprint, T Mobile is also making its deals known to the world, but its approach is a little different from the rest.
For starters, all postpaid Simple Choice customers get unlimited LTE for the next three months, starting now. But it will start only after you deplete the current month’s data and data stash. The offer will not apply to tethering, and T Mobile reserves the rights to terminate your plan if you abuse it.
Next week, the carrier announced offering a deal for Sprint, Verizon and AT&T customers. We will have to wait and see what this form of bribery will be comprised of and if the competition users will be tempted enough to jump boats.
Black Friday starts on November 25th for T Mobile, which means they are ahead of everyone by one day.
When it comes to smartphone deals, the carrier is giving Samsung Galaxy S6 (32GB version) for $0 upfront and $0 per month with the JUMP! On Demand program. You can save $100 off a Samsung tablet when you buy a Samsung phone from T Mobile.
If Samsung is not to your liking or budget, you can track down an Alcatel Onetouch Pixi 7 tablet for free if you get a qualifying data plan. All you have to pay is the sales tax fee and you walk out with a new contract and a $168 device. And if that’s not enough, we got word of some Cyber Monday love too.
OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE:
T-Mobile Amps the Holidays, Starts with Gift of Unlimited LTE for Existing Customers
Un-carrier announces Black Friday offers and kicks off ‘Un-carrier Unwrapped’ − four weeks in a row of surprise holiday gifts − starting with three full months of unlimited LTE data for T-Mobile customers – at no extra charge!
Bellevue, Washington — November 23, 2015 — T-Mobile (NASDAQ: TMUS) is kicking off the holidays in style with Un-carrier Unwrapped, a full month of holiday gift-giving, with one special gift coming each week. First up, the Un-carrier is giving the gift of unlimited high-speed data for your smartphone – for the next three months – to every single one of its postpaid Simple Choice customers. But in true T-Mobile fashion, we won’t stop there. T-Mobile is also delivering special holiday gifts to Sprint, AT&T and Verizon customers starting next week – one carrier per week. Plus, T-Mobile is serving up a banquet of holiday offers, including a free tablet, $0 down $0 per month on the Samsung Galaxy S6 32GB with JUMP! On Demand, and more.
“We’ve had a fantastic year, and we’re going to spread that T-Mobile cheer by starting with the most important people first… our existing customers! Now you get Unlimited LTE data on our blazing fast network for three full months as a gift from the Un-carrier to you,” said John Legere, president and CEO of T-Mobile. “But that’s not all….we know that Verizon, AT&T and Sprint customers need some holiday cheer, too – so we’ve got presents coming for them. Just wait!”
The holidays are for connecting with family and friends. In fact, data usage on T-Mobile’s network jumps more than 10% in December. The last thing customers want to worry about is their data, so T-Mobile is taking that worry away. For the next three months, everybody – all active Simple Choice postpaid customers as of end of day November 23, including business customers – has Unlimited 4G LTE smartphone data once you use up all your data and your Data Stash.
And, as the Un-carrier so often does, they’ve done the hard work to keep things simple for customers. Simple Choice postpaid customers don’t have to do a thing to get their Unlimited LTE gift. On December 1, 2015, the special holiday gift will simply appear under the tree—that is, in their existing T-Mobile plan. Which is how gifts ought to be given, right? No stress. No hassles. And, they’ll keep that free Unlimited LTE smartphone data as long as they’re on the same T-Mobile plan with Binge On active until March 1, 2016.
More gifts – for the carriers’ mistreated customers – will start arriving next Monday, one carrier per week. Stay tuned.
Black Friday: Get a Tablet on Us – and a Whole Lot More On top of this unprecedented customer gift, Black Friday is starting early at T-Mobile. Beginning this Wednesday, November 25, you can get the popular Alcatel Onetouch Pixi™ 7” Android-powered™ 4G LTE tablet for $0 with any qualifying data plan at participating T-Mobile stores across the country and online. That’s right: $0 down, $0 payments; you pay only the sales tax. With Binge On and a new tablet this holiday season, the entire family can watch all the holiday movies they want from top video services like Netflix, HBO, Hulu, and SlingTV and never worry about the Grinch gobbling up your high-speed data.
More Black Friday Deals:

A new Mobile Humble Bundle is live, and this time it all starts with games for kids! It seems to be another week another mobile bundle that keeps adding more and more games as they near their lives’ end. You can get some expensive games basically for free and you can help charities in the process.
This Mobile Humble Bundle doesn’t have a specific theme as it happened with previous bundles, but its games are not bad. You get two tiers and there will probably be another one added soon.
The first tier gets you Amelia, One More Time and Toy Defense for as little as $1. If you pay more than the average price, which is $4.50 right now, you also get Double Dragon Trilogy, Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath and Autumn Dynasty. The games will not have any ads, in-app purchases or DRM.
This Mobile Humble Bundle will be available for the next 14 days and more games will be added next week. You will have to have purchased the second tier in order to get the new games when they are added.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man edition is here for all of your super-heroic pleasures. The perfect device for all hardcore Iron Man fans out there is finally here (in some parts of the world at least, anyway) and it is clad in red and yellow, as any Marvel fan would know. The colors are not all the change you get, as the device sports a huge IM helmet logo on the back plus a custom software theme to match the Avengers’ leader.
The S6 Edge Iron Man is now official as Samsung is launching it at home, in South Korea, on May 27th and it will launch in Hong Kong and China as soon as next month. This phone is completely customized and it is a 64GB S6 Edge version highly different from the Avengers casing sported out elsewhere on the internet. This device comes with a free customized wireless charging dock that resembles Iron Man’s arc reactor core and free headphones and a clear case.
Software-wise, everything has an Avengers vibe and specific graphics can be seen in the SMS and dialer apps as well. There is no news regarding price at the moment, but considering that the usual S6 Edge costs well over $900 USD, this one may prove to be much spicier in this price tag choice. Most of us non-billionaire playboys with a knack for saving the world will not afford one unless we sell our souls perhaps. There is no news on a global launch either so we may not even have to.
HTC One M9 is official: it will launch on April 10th in the US. During today’s event, HTC announced that everyone will start offering M9 on April 10th. Not all carriers will start actively selling the device at this time though, because this date only marks the date when someone decides to start selling.
Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and US Cellular have already announced they will carry the device, so no worries there at least. The April 10th date comes as no surprise to anyone because HTC will do anything for you to see it next to the S6 come launch day.
It appears there will not be a Google Play Edition for the device though, which is no big surprise either considering few flagships get that anymore.
The Uh-Oh protection plan event today also addressed the possibility of replacing phones in case of water damage, cracked screens or carrier switches in the first 12 months from purchase. If you don’t get one replacement in this time frame, you can get $100 from HTC for purchasing your next HTC. Of course, they will send the device on the next business day without you having to send them the device first. They will, however require a credit card hold of $299.99 just to make sure you’re not double-crossing them to get two HTCs at the price of one. In case you don’t want to wait for your replacement to arrive at your door step, you will get a prepaid shipping label replacement phone within two days of receiving the damaged device.
Motorola is doing good trying to get more customers and now, for every Moto X 2014 Pure Edition you buy, you get a complimentary 3G Moto E. Hurry up though, the deal only stands until March 24th. 3G Moto E is a great phone to give to someone, especially to family members or friends who need a starter phone or a secondary phone, if that’s still a thing.
This deal brings you $119.99 in savings, as you would only pay $499.99 for the Moto X Pure edition. You will have to buy the phone off-contract though, as no carrier version is eligible for this deal. The savings appear when you add both devices to your cart.
This deal stands until 10:59 CT on March 24th, so hurry up before Motorola pulls the plug.
