Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus available soon – better processor, same look to the existing S5

Samsung recently posted the page for its better and more improved Galaxy S5! What could a Galaxy S5 need more out of life? You can always do with more power, right? Right?

Samsung seems to know this and it reacted accordingly by creating Galaxy S5 Plus, a variant of the primary flagship that includes a better Snapdragon 805 processor that replaces the 801 version found in all S5 variants.

The first Samsung Galaxy S5 was released earlier this year in Singapore and it does sport a quad-core Snapdragon 805 clocked at 2.5 GHz, which is a little slower than the chip found in the new Note 4. It appears that the South-Koreans are looking to expand their device to more viable markets.

Galaxy 5 Plus presents this singular upgrade it seems, as the rest of its specs remain the same. The new specs will be able to support LTE speeds up to 225Mbps, but you won’t really find that anywhere yet.

Motorola Droid Turbo from Verizon leaked – see what the device looks like

Motorola Droid Turbo showed its face recently in a few Androidcentral pics. Verizon’s device seems to be ready to battle in the look department as well as when it comes to specs!

It has a 5.2” screen with a QHD resolution at 2560×1440 and inside you will be able to find a quad-core Snapdragon 805 with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. The Turbo device will have a killer camera of 21 MP with an updated interface, including the Quick Capture mode and video highlights feature.

Everything will be powered by a 3900 mAh battery which reportedly lasts for 2 days of usage. Of course, the device will be waterproof to some extent as to survive everyday spills and even 20 minutes of downpour.

Motorola Droid Turbo will run on a mostly stock Android version with a few Moto tweaks, including Droid Zap and Chromecast slideshows, location-based file sharing and voice activate screenshot (you say OK Turbo, zap my screen, and the device screenshots your screen).

Details regarding the price and availability are still unknown.
