ZTE Concord II was announced today and it presents itself as an affordable Android device on an over-saturated market. The entry level smartphone will be available for Metro PCS and T Mobile and it becomes available today for T Mobile and next week for Metro PCS.
ZTE Concord II runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and has a 4 inch TFT LCD screen at 480 x 600 p resolution WVGA. It runs on a 1.2 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of storage space. It supports microSD cards up to 32 GB and has a rear-facing 5 MP camera with LED flash and auto-focus. The device is powered by an 1820 mAh battery that offers around 6 hours of talk time.
The Concord is a durable and cheap phone that can resist falls from up to 2 meters. It does not have LTE connection though. The device is sold at $150 without contract and $0 on T Mobile contract.
