Xiaomi Mi 4c was launched in Beijing today and the smartphone looks pretty much similar to Mi 4i, a device launched in India back in April. It is a mid-range device with slightly better specs compared to the Mi 4i, and it sells for $200-$250 in India (Rs 13,500-15,000) and China (RMB 1300-1499), depending on the version you want.
Under the hood you will find a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 with an Adreno 418 GPU and a 2GB of RAM/ 16GB storage or 3GB of RAM/ 32GB storage combo. You will not get a microSD slot with either option though.
The display has 5 inches and a full HD definition feature at 1080p. It also gets night reading mode to help your eyes, but it sacrifices the corning Gorilla Glass protection most good smartphones have.
Xiaomi Mi 4c has the same cameras as the Mi 4i, which are a 13MP auto-focus primary camera with dual tone LED flash and a 5MP front snapper. The device is powered by a 3080 mAh battery with Quick Charge support and 4G connectivity.
Mi 4c is not a big upgrade from Mi 4i, but it does have some pluses, which makes it the better option. We just have to wait for it to become available to the rest of the world.
