Verizon’s LG G3 gets CyanogenMod nightly build

Nov 29, 2014 | News, Updates/Software

LG G3 can now be modded with CyanogenMod if you are so inclined. The blue cats continue to develop their community-based ROM and now Verizon LG G3 owners will be getting their update. The device has a nightly build of CyanogenMod 11 for Android 4.4, and more updates are coming soon.

The Verizon G3 (model vs985) is the first to get the ROM support and it seems possible thanks to Bump! Bootloader unlock tool and TWRP recovery. Other LG version will follow soon as it appears that CM is counting on its devs owning a device in order to create a stable version of CM on it.

ROM flashers, you know what to do; the nightly ROM version will have some issues, as it always happens, so if you don’t like a possibly buggy build, stay away from THIS LINK. If you’re determined in getting this ROM build, go HERE to get your Gapps ZIP and get access to Google Play Store and other Google services. Happy Flashing!
