NVIDIA official documents leak HTC Nexus 9 tablet plans

NVIDIA official documents reveal a new HTC Nexus 9. The legal document is an official claim with the ITC in relation to the accusations of infringement NVIDIA addressed to Qualcomm and Samsung in relation to their infringement over GPU technology patents. It is basically an official affirmation in relation to the HTC Nexus 9.

The document states that the Nexus 9 is set to take over the market in the third quarter of 2014 and it is expected to use a Tegra K1 processor. This news basically confirms the recent rumors regarding the next Nexus device and we are offered an expected timeframe for its release.

What we need to know now is the price and the official confirmation from Google. A Tegra K1 tablet would certainly be a hit on the market as the NVIDIA processor is a very powerful piece of hardware that could only be competition for the likes of LG and Samsung.

Acer Chromebook CB5 – a new Tegra-powered notebook hitting the market this summer

A new Tegra-powered device will hit the market this August and some photos have already been leaked online. We’re talking about Tegra K1-powered notebook Acer Chromebook CB5 that appeared on the Swedish site and is packing a Tegra K1 processor with 4 GB of RAM memory and a 32 GB SSD. To top it off, the device has a 13.3” display.

The device also has 2 USB 3.0 ports, a HDMI port, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a pretty sexy design. Its possible launch date, at least according to the Swedish site, is August 1st. No other details were given but this proves that we will soon have a Chromebook running a Tegra processor. This may just well be one of the most powerful Chromebooks that hit the market this year, apart from Chromebook Pixel, and its HD screen makes us hope it will have a 1080p resolution.
