In case you like big and powerful phones, Samsung and Sony’s flagships in the bigger phablet department will surely draw your attention and your money. Verizon is selling these two devices since October 23rd and you can buy them off-contract for $699 and $599 respectively.

Just in case your wallet is not abounding with cash, you can try the devices with a new contract for $299.99 in Galaxy Note 4’s case and for $199.99 in Sony Xperia Z3v’s case. Both devices are eligible for interest-free financing through the EDGE program.

Sony Xperia Z3v is part of the ever-increasing Xperia family and represents an improved Z2 design in reality. It has a full HD 5.2” display, a Snapdragon 801 processor with 3 GB of RAM and a decent battery with a thick body. It includes Qi wireless charging and a 20MP camera. The device comes with Android KitKat and microSD card support and can be bought in white or black.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is the phone to have right now, as the device has some of the best specs on the market at the moment. It has a 5.7” AMOLED screen at QHD resolution – the best technology on a Samsung phone at the moment – with a Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor and 3 GB of RAM. You will get 32 GB of storage plus a microSD slot and a bigger and better 16MP camera. The device comes with a stylus s-pen and a removable battery, but its best design feature is the aluminum frame and sides. The handset runs on Android KitKat at launch plus the Sense UI interface and Verizon is making it available in white and black.

Sony Xperia Z3V arrives on the US market exclusively on Verizon

Sony Xperia Z3V is finally announced for Verizon and it appears it’s the same Z3 with a Verizon twist. The flagship is not fresh news for the world, but for the US market it’s close to a new entry as, usually, Sony does not give attention to the American continent when it comes to sales.

It appears though that the Xperia Z3V gets the same hardware specs as the specs found in the international variant. You will get the following:

  • 5.2” 1080p LCD display with TRILUMINOUS technology
  • 2.5 GHz quad-core processor
  • 32 GB internal storage plus microSD card
  • 20.7 MP camera with 4K video features
  • 3200 mAh battery with built-in Wireless Charging support
  • IP65 and IP68 durability
  • Android KitKat.

It appears that Sony Xperia Z3V’s battery holds on for 3 days based on tests and it also has that helpful Qi wireless charging. The handset goes on sale October 23rd at the price of $199.99 with a new contract, but can be purchased based on Edge payment plans as well.
