Sprint’s Samsung Galaxy Note 4 updates to Android Lollipop 5.0

Sprint’s Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is finally getting the Lollipop treatment. This brings the device to version N910PVPU1BOB7 and it includes all the Lollipop sweetness you can expect.

Among the most important changes you will find WiFi calling enhancements. You may have to wait for a bit though, as Sprint usually releases its updates in stages. You can, of course, hit that update button to check things out.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 gets update to Lollipop, OTA live in Poland only so far

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is getting its update to Lollipop 5.0.1, and it all starts in Poland again. HTC, LG and Motorola have been rather quick in updating their devices so some form of Lollipop but Samsung devices are still waiting for their sweetness.

SamMobile reports that Galaxy Note 4 in Poland is getting an update to Lollipop 5.0.1 as we speak and its size is around 1 GB. The OTA is available for the SM-910C (Exynos) variant. The update brings about the usual Lollipop features such as the carousel recents and notifications on the lockscreen and Samsung’s re-interpretation of TouchWiz.

In case you live in Poland, you can check the Updates button or maybe you already received the OTA notification. The rest of the world will have to wait for the international rollout.

Verizon has a new offer this Black Friday, and it seems that you can get $100 off for every on-contract Android phone you buy plus $150 bill credit if you switch to Verizon from another carrier. It appears that some people actually may want to get into contracts with the big red streak.


In order to get most Verizon devices all you have to do is go to Verizon or Amazon. Some device examples are Droid Turbo reduced to $99 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4, which was $299 at launch and can be bought with $199 now.





The most attractive offers are Samsung Galaxy S5, Xperia Z3v, Droid Maxx and 2014 Moto X that you can get for free with substantial contracts, of course. On Amazon you will find the HTC One M8 at $0.01.


Be sure to get just the device and contract you need before signing that two-year contract.

US Cellular starts selling Samsung Galaxy Note 4 tomorrow!

US Cellular is starting to sell Samsung Galaxy Note 4 tomorrow! Every year for the past four, Samsung has been promoting its large smartphone that comes with a stylus and this year it’s no different as the fourth incarnation of the Note family is making its appearance in the entire world.


US Cellular customers can order their device online or in stores starting October 17th. This Galaxy Note 4 version will sell for $299 with a two-year contract or you will be able to buy it from US Cellular for $770 without contract.


Note 4 has a 5.7” 2560×1440 Super AMOLED display with a quad-core processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage with a microSD slot and a 16MP back camera.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 leaked online – same Note, better resolution

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 details were leaked today at GSM Arena and now we may know just a bit more about the device!

The Note 4 is codenamed Muscat and it will probably have a large-ish 5.7” QHD display at a 2560 x 1440 p resolution with a pixel density of 515. Last year’s Note flagship had a 5.7” display at a Full HD resolution only.

It appears that the device may be powered by a Snapdragon or Exynos Hexa processor and it will be water resistant – and dust resistant, of course – and have a pretty good 20 MP camera.
