Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 4 gets OTA with factory reset and minor bug fixes

Sprint is on an update roll and next in line is Samsung Galaxy Note 4, who gets factory reset protection. The feature made its first appearance in Android Lollipop and it can make phones tougher to break by thieves in terms of software as it requires users to always enter a passkey before wiping their handsets. This way, stolen devices cannot be sold to others because they are not cleared of personal data.

The update also presents some unnamed bug fixes that don’t really deserve to be mentioned as long as they are fixed, right? The OTA brings Note 4 to software version N910PVPU2BOE1 and it rolls out in stage so it may take a few hours to reach all devices.
