Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus are live! The new Gear watch teased as well!

Samsung Unpacked brought us all we could ever want and more with the release of its most recent flagship devices. As speculated, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus made their triumphant appearance, and at the end of the presentation the company teased the new Gear device.

First in line is the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, the most recent smartphone of the Note line. It is slimmer, has a bigger display AND a redesigned click-y S Pen. You can now write notes directly on your phablet screen without having to open it before hand and it appears to be actually very useful for people who want a big smartphone and who are creative.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is, as expected, the bigger brother to S6 Edge. It has the dual edge screen we embraced earlier this year and it could very well be the epitome of the journey began by the Galaxy Edge last year. Two colors were shown as previously leaked, the white and the gold version. It has a 5.7” screen and it is smaller than the iPhone 6 Plus at the same time. Take that, Apple! It comes paired with a Bluetooth headset and offers sharp images and clear and fluid videos.

The physical keyboard case was also presented with the Note 5, making the previous leaks very very real, as expected. It is supposed to ease writing and protect your phone.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 leaked just before the Unpacked event

Samsung is really really close to unveiling its newest smartphones today but one of them has already been leaked. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has just appeared in a set of real photos courtesy of Nowhereelse.fr and the details promise a pretty finished design. Rumor is this is a dummy version that will be displayed in shops, but it should fully replicate the phablet.

Samsung accidentally leaks Galaxy S6 Edge Plus

Samsung has a major event going on the day after tomorrow, but one of its most precious new entries has already been accidentally revealed. The most important devices rumored to make an appearance at the August 13th event are the Galaxy Note 5 and Edge 6 Plus, and the second one has been already revealed.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus

Samsung’s new curved phablet is indeed a larger version of the Galaxy S6 Edge as it boosts the screen to 5.5 inches. The Galaxy Note 5 is rumored to have a 5.7 inch screen, which means you will have lots of sizes to choose from when you pick your device, along with the already established S6 flagships.

The info comes from the French Samsung site, where a pre-order page for the Edge S6 + has been released. The device seems to be paired with a headset and three months of Google play music for free. This appears to be a limited offer to possible customers who pre-order between the 21st of August and September 4th.

Even if the writing is rather small, we can discern that the new screen size is on its way to the phablet. Samsung will be holding the Unpacked event in two days and it’s almost a given that the Edge 6 + and the Note 5 will be presented then and there. We will just have to wait for a few more hours.
