LG Nexus 5 2015 leaked in internal photos

Google is almost ready to release its new incarnations of the Nexus 5 and Nexus 6 later this year and a new leak may show us what the LG device looks like. Google chose to partner with LG and Huawei for this year’s rendition of its Nexus devices and below you can see the newest addition to the LG nexus 5 leaks.

Nexus 5 2015

The device shown presents the Nexus as a Project N3 device, which is pretty accurate considering this is the third Nexus that LG produces for Google. The image shows both the front and the back of the device and, as we can see, the back renders seen before were pretty much accurate. The round fingerprint scanner is present just below the camera sensor and there are dual front-facing speakers to be seen as well.

Nexus 5 2015 specs

This leak comes bearing specs as well, and some of the details are a little surprising. The LG Nexus 5 2015 will have a 5.2-inch full HD (1080p) display and under the chassis you will find a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor paired with 2 GB – you read right, only 2 GB – of RAM. The entire device is powered by a 2,700 mAh battery, a rather small cell for today’s needs. But it could work out.

Keep in mind that these specs were not confirmed by Google or Nexus officials so they could be wrong.

New Nexus 5 2015 images and details leak, including possible launch date

New Nexus 5 2015 images and details have surfaced today, including the launch date of said device. LG’s new Nexus device will launch soon and some of the rumors are proving to be correct. Its official launch date seems to be September 29th. The Huawei Nexus device was not mentioned, but it is expected that Google will launch both devices at the same time. The information was not publicly confirmed by official sources though, so take everything with a pinch of salt.

China’s Weibo site says that the new Nexus 5 will have a 5.2-inch display with a 2K resolution, a Snapdragon 808 processor plus 3 GB of RAM. If the rumors and leaks are true, the device will come packed with a 13MP Sony-made IMX278 sensor with OIS and a 5MP front snapper.

LG Nexus 5 spec

Some speculate that Google will launch two Nexus devices this year, as suggested by LG and Huawei device leaks. LG is reportedly working on a new Nexus 5 while Huawei is making a new Nexus 6. The details above suggest that Nexus 5 will not have top-of-the-line specs, which in turn could mean that it will have a good competitive price. This could solve last year’s mistake with the Nexus 6 pricing which hurt Google Nexus sales. We shall see which leaks and rumors are true at the end of next month.

Huawei Honor 7 available in Europe at a super-price

Huawei Honor 7 was launched in Europe earlier this week and it seems like a smartphone with a deal. For the first few days you can get one for under £250, but the price will go up 20 to 40% in the future.

Huawei Honor 7

This Chinese smartphone is part of the Honor brand, a line that became rather popular in Europe since it launched last year. You can also find Honor phones in the US and other non-European areas but without this brand

Huawei Honor 7 specs and details

Honor 7 has a premium-looking metallic body and is available in White,Black and Gold versions. The device presents a nice fingerprint sensor on the back of the device, just below the camera. The rest of the specs are as follows:

  • 5.2-inch 1080 x 1920 p (`424ppi)
  • quad-core 2.2 GHz Cortex A53 and Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex A-53
  • 3GB RAM
  • 16/65 GB storage plus microSD slot
  • 20 MP primary camera plus dual-LED flash
  • 8 MP front camera
  • Android 5.0
  • 3,100 mAh battery.

It appears that Huawei Honor 7 is indeed a quality phone that offers customers value for money. It looks decent, has medium-range specs that work for it and it could change the way people buy phones. The device stands out for the price-range and it also presents features usually seen in more expensive flagships.

The device costs 1,999 yuan in China, around $325, and in the US and other non-EU or Asian countries you can get it for a much pricier ~$500 from importers on Amazon and other similar virtual shops.

The Huawei watch appears online and available for pre-order

The Huawei watch recently leaked online will probably launch at the IFA next week, but until then we can see it in all of its $800 splendor online. The device is available for pre-order on Amazon and you have four different devices to choose from: Stainless steel/Black, Black/Black, Gold/Gold and Gold/Brown. The downside to this is that the devices are priced really high when compared to other Android Wear devices.

Huawei watch

The cheapest Hauwei watch models is the Stainless Black one and it costs $350. It has a steel-colored case and a black leather band. The most expensive one is the Gold/Gold one, and it sells for $799.

What’s inside the Huawei watch?

Here is what we know about the specs for this new wearable:

  • 1.4” full-circle AMOLED display at 400 x 400
  • sapphire glass -scratch resistant
  • stainless steel body
  • Android 4.3 and iOS 8.2 compatibility.

The last part is the most interesting one as it presents the possibility that Android Wear can support iOS. We will have to wait and see if all of this is really true or if someone made a mistake with the spec list.

The price suggests that Huawei watch will be an Apple watch competitor. We will have to wait a little longer to see if it will live up to it though. Pre-orders will start to ship on September 2nd.

Huawei Nexus phone leaks in new photos!

Huawei Nexus phone (possibly) leaks again! After the leak of the LG Nexus device set to launch sometime this year, it is its sibling’s turn as new photos surface. Google+user Tiessen Fu recently posted three photos of a device with the Nexus logo on it. The bonus is the Huawei logo sitting next to it.

Huawei Nexus render

In the photos you can see the front and back of the Huawei Nexus device, plus a protective case. The back presents a circular cut which is probably the fingerprint reader. It looks exactly as the one in the LG Nexus leaks. The previous Huawei renders were rather accurate because the device does indeed have the oblong panel where the camera and flash are.

The G+ user says that the leaks were sent to him by a friend and the QQ labels imply that they were sent to him over the Tencent QQ instant messaging system. Since Huawei is situated in China, this explanation seems sound.

Specs and possibilities: Huawei Nexus

Recent leaks have addressed the tech specs details, and some include a 5.4 – inch screen with a Snapdragon 810 processor and a 3500 mAh battery. But, as usual, everything should be taken in with a grain of salt because this data cannot be officially verified at this point.

We won’t have to wait THAT long since usually Google launches its OS update along with some interesting Nexus devices. Fall is nearly upon us, and this is usually the time when Google takes out its ace from the sleeve. We just have to wait for a little while longer.

Edit: there’s even more photos leaking out there! Huawei Nexus, codenamed Angler, is indeed sporting a Snapdragon 810 processor and it appears to have 64GB  of storage. Here it is:

New Nexus devices leaked once again! LG and Huawei sign on the manufacturing aspect of things

New Nexus devices are close to being announced as leaks about them start to spread on the interwebs. If you liked your Nexus 5, but it already feels a little old, fret no more, as not one but two manufacturers are working on creating two new Google line devices. Huawei and LG are working on a Nexus 6-style phablet device and a smaller smartphone to attract the Nexus 5 crowd.

Similar leaks have spread on the Internet a few days ago but now @OnLeaks Twitter account seems to shed some more light on these handsets. Considering that they were pretty accurate on previous occasions, this should count as a very possible outcome for the new Android devices.

This is what we know about the new Nexus devices

After a one year break, LG is back to working with Google and a new smartphone may come out of this combination. The new device should have a 5.2 inch display with two front-facing speakers and a rear fingerprint sensor. The icing on the cake should be the USB Type-C connector. There should be a protruding camera on the back, plus a much longer device compared to the Nexus 5, in part due to the frontal speakers.

The second device is made by Huawei and it reportedly has a 5.7 inch 2560 x 1440 p display that design-wise is narrower than its Nexus 6 counterpart. It should have a metal body, making it resemble an iPhone 6 Plus. Inside there should be a Snapdragon 820 to make things interesting. This device should also have the rear fingerprint scanner, the front-facing speakers and the USB Type-C port.

Both nexus devices will launch with the most recent Android OS version, a clean one with no bloatware. There is still no news on the official announcement, a price and availability for the two devices, but it is coming soon, we hope.
