Nexus 6P Gold edition available in the US Google Store and on Best Buy

Nexus 6P launched in November and back then it was available in three colors: Aluminum, Graphite and Frost. The lucky folks in Japan were able to get a Gold edition phone if they chose to, and it was purchasable directly from the Google Store too! Everyone else was jealous and thought they were ripped off a great color! If you are from the US, you too can now own a Nexus 6P clad in gold. You can purchase the device through Best Buy and Google Store.       What makes this 6P version different is its exterior appearance. Everything else is identical to the usual Nexus 6P. You get 32 or 64GB variants which cost $499-549.   The new gold edition version of Nexus should be live in the US starting today. If you really want as 6P dressed in gold, you will have to stay tuned on Google Store and Best Buy because we have a feeling they will be sold out pretty fast!   Source: Google Store

[Game of the day] A Good Snowman will puzzle you with its cutesy difficulty

A Good Snowman will put you right in the jolly holiday mood, just in case you needed another reminder that Winter and Winter holidays are coming. This little game will put you in a puzzle where you have to build a snowman. Thing is, you’re not a human, but a monster who is definitely having some trouble at creating stuff from snow. But you can help him get better at it.     A Good Snowman comes from developer team Draknek, and it will not be free, but more on that later. It received prizes and distinctions at different arcade game conventions in 2015 – including Best Character Design at Intel Level Up in 2014 – for its design and original soundtrack and it will not annoy you with in-app purchases and ads once you buy it.   Your main goal is to build the best snowman the world has ever seen in order to impress your peers. After you manage to construct one little white symbol of winter, you will have to make more and more in some increasingly difficult levels of puzzle adventure. Why you are building snowmen, you may ask? That is a mystery all in itself, as the game does not disclose the reason behind this perilously funny and mind-boggling adventure.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMM9IMV7f0A     Want to give A Good Snowman a second look? Visit the Google Play Store via the widget below. The game costs $5, which is not cheap, but not very expensive either, especially considering you will not […]

Nexus 6 pulled off the Google Store – where can you buy it now?

If you have been waiting for the killer deal on a Nexus 6 this holiday season, you should know that that time is not coming as Google has already pulled the plug on the device. You will no longer be able to get the device from Google Store. This does not mean that you will not be able to find it anywhere anymore, but its price may go a bit higher or remain the same for a while considering it will be harder to find. The 6” Shamu will not be sold by Google anymore, but support will not die with this event. We are still talking about a 2014 device here. Android updates should come to the device at least for the next one or two years if the device will follow the Nexus 5 recipe. If you really want a Nexus 6 now, you can appeal to eBay, where you will find all sorts of deals, or you can scour Amazon, where you will find the device selling for $349 at the moment. Fossil Q Founder available on Google Store soon!

Fossil Q Founder is a new smartwatch you may want to check out soon. You can already find it on the Fossil official site, but you will also be able to get it on the Google Store. It is sold for $295 and it is appropriately priced for a device running on an ultra-low-power Atom processor from Intel. This wearable has 1 GB of RAM, which is double the amount you get in flagship wearables like LG Watch Urbane, Moto 360 2015 or Huawei Watch. It is powered by a hefty 400 mAh battery, which should hold well for a few good hours.       On Google Store you will be able to read about more specs, even more than you will find on the official Fossil site. This way, you can see what makes this device tick and HOW it ticks. A curious detail is the speaker that we are not sure will work yet, because it may not have active software at the moment.   Fossil Q Founder spec list:   Model Options Light stainless steel case with silver-finish steel bracelet Light stainless steel case with leather band Display 1.5” Circle LTPS LCD 360 x 326, 240 PPI Dimensions 38.1 mm diameter Weight 172.9 g with steel band 70.9 g with leather strap Processor Intel® Atom™ processor Memory & Storage 1 GB RAM 4 GB internal storage Operating system Android Wear Design Stainless steel watch module Sensors Accelerometer Gyroscope Ambient Light Sensor Battery 400 mAh All day (mixed use) Audio Invensense ICS-43432 mic […]
