There’s a new HTC event taking place, and it will happen on October 20, as expected. Yesterday we revealed some leaked prop shots of the HTC One A9, the next One device rumored to launch ASAP, and it appears that that rumor was true. Mark the date as October 20 will show us the “evolution of the One” in full effect in New York City. To hype up everyone on social media, HTC posted a teaser with gray scale nature images and the hashtag #BeBrilliant. Could this be the product that saves the company from doom? According to HTC’s site, where the event will be streamed, the company is set in a partnership deal with Tidal (Jay Z’s music streaming service) and this partnership is funding the launch of an Android 6.0 Marshmallow-powered smartphone. This HTC event will show us the most recent device plus the partnership with Tidal, as quoted below: “ Those who appreciate great music know greatness when they hear it. That’s why it only makes sense to partner with Tidal to celebrate the launch of our newest device for an event unlike anything that’ s ever rocked the Barclays Center.” Do you think that this HTC event will mean the launch of One A9? Could this be the smartphone to redeem the company and reassure its future among the Android big guys? Let us know in the comments below. Source: Droid-Life
LG just launched an invitation to a mysterious event being held next month in New York. The event will take place on October 1st and it appears that the South-Korean manufacturer really wants you to “save the date”. Could this be the day we finally meet the new LG Nexus 2015? or is this the moment we meet a new tablet, an Android wear device or the rumored V10? We will have to wait and see. Speculation is running amok right now, especially since more than one device has been spotted in leaks. One possibility for an official release can be the LG G4 Note, seen getting certification on TENAA recently. A speculated release date for this device was October 10. Another possibility is the Nexus 5 or Nexus 5X, that was rumored to be available for pre-order sometime mid-October. The device should have a Snapdragon 808 processor plus a 2700 mAh battery. LG could bring the G Pad II variations to the US or even the metallic G4 variants, but these are not devices worthy of a full event. We will have to wait for a little while longer before we actually find out what this event is all about. We are sure that new Android devices await and they will only help the platform grow bigger and bigger by the day. Source: Android Central

Samsung Unpacked event is just a couple of hours away and we’re more excited than ever to find out what the South-Korean manufacturer has to share with us today. The event will take place in New York and it will be broadcast on the official page. The expectations are big as the speculated devices to be announced are the Note 5 and Edge S6 Plus. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus This device is a larger version of the regular S6 Edge and it also represents an answer to Apple’s iPhone 6 Plus. It is also an alternative to the Note and its size but it doesn’t have the stylus. Technically, the device is set to resonate with the Note 5. It is rumored to have a 5.7 inch Quad HD display with the side curves, an octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, a 16MP and a 5 MP camera plus a 3000mAh battery. It should have a metal body that obviously does not allow users to increase the storage because there is no microSD slot. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 The Note 5 has the same specs but a slightly different design, more in tone with the already established Note line. The phablet should also have a 5.7 inch Quad HD display paired with the Octa-core processor, 4 GB of RAM and 16/5 MP camera combo, all powered by a 3000 mAh battery. The smartphone should also have a metal body and the stylus pen. The improved build should […]
Samsung has a major event going on the day after tomorrow, but one of its most precious new entries has already been accidentally revealed. The most important devices rumored to make an appearance at the August 13th event are the Galaxy Note 5 and Edge 6 Plus, and the second one has been already revealed. Samsung’s new curved phablet is indeed a larger version of the Galaxy S6 Edge as it boosts the screen to 5.5 inches. The Galaxy Note 5 is rumored to have a 5.7 inch screen, which means you will have lots of sizes to choose from when you pick your device, along with the already established S6 flagships. The info comes from the French Samsung site, where a pre-order page for the Edge S6 + has been released. The device seems to be paired with a headset and three months of Google play music for free. This appears to be a limited offer to possible customers who pre-order between the 21st of August and September 4th. Even if the writing is rather small, we can discern that the new screen size is on its way to the phablet. Samsung will be holding the Unpacked event in two days and it’s almost a given that the Edge 6 + and the Note 5 will be presented then and there. We will just have to wait for a few more hours.
