Are you a Worms fan reminiscing on the good old days when you used to play it on a Symbian device? Well, long years have passed, the game became somewhat of a hit on the PC and it even got to be live on smartphones again! Well, now you can play Worms 4 on your Android device. When it comes to continuity and title placement, this franchise has not been the most consistent. Out of more than 23 games out there, there’s at least one named Worms 4 already. Their story continuity is also pretty much jumbled, but hey, you always do the same things, run around on a 2D map and watch it be inevitably blown up by worms. Worms 4 has been available on iOS for a few months now and it is finally available on the Google Play Store as well. The game is still the same gameplay-wise, you get tons of wormies that will keep spitting pop references with their squeaky voices until they all die or until the map is vanquished by their ridiculously violent weapons. You get a multiplayer too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtU4NViyeiM The changes are minuscule; of course we get some visual improvements, better controls and menus for the mobile interface and a live one-on-one multiplayer. The world is more dynamic and the rounds are much faster to encourage matches. The players will be divided into worldwide factions and every victory or defeat will add up to the overall conflict. Not all good games are free, and neither is I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream. DotEmu is usually porting its older games on the Android platform; Double Dragon, R-Type and Another World are just a few names that made it from the PC to the Android world, and now we are adding another classic on the list. I Have No Mouth, But I Must Scream launched on the PC in 1995 and it was based on a story of the same name written by Harlan Ellison in 1967. It is a point and click game of adventure with five protagonists. Each character has their own story and direction that can be played in any order the player likes. The five characters are basically the last human survivors of a cyber-apocalypse. The world’s political superpowers created a war-like artificial intelligence that managed to increase its influence and ended up destroying everything. AM- the super-powerful and highly intelligent AI – destroyed the world and imprisoned the five remaining humans, torturing them for over 109 years. It’s not a particularly funny or lightheaded story, as you can see. In I Have No Mouth, But I Must Scream, AM will create an adventurous event filled with puzzles that each subject must pass, and these puzzles are all eating at the subject’s instability and weaknesses. Each characters has choices to make and, based on what you choose when you play the game, your end resolution will be different. Not all outcomes are good for […]

Aralon: Forge and Flame is an new 3D mobile game that is trying to change the way mobile games work. The good part about this game, apart from its graphics, is the lack of in-app purchases. That does not mean you will get a free app though, because you have to pay $5 for it. At least you’re getting away from that evil freemium stuff that haunts you all over the Store now, right? The game comes after two-and-a-half years of Aralon: Sword and Shadow HD, as Crescent Moon Games managed to bring out another game we can enjoy. Graphics look very much improved from the previous model and we are expected to roam around a massive world where three races and four classes can be your enemies or friends. You also get real-time shadows, and first or third-person views, plus dynamic day and night cycles. Think Skyrim for mobiles… but with less graphics, less story and less complexity! Aralon is not as complex in story as one would think, but considering it is a mobile game, we can take that. You get a linear experience where you will not be interrupted by in-app purchases or referrals to your friends or sacrificing your child to the Dark Lord for gold requests either. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKWCM8OFxzw Some problems with the game on Android devices have been cited by users, and it all depends on your device and its OS at the moment. The problems are being addressed by the team. […]
If you like side-scrolling games and are a fan of old-school adventures, maybe you will want to go to the Google Play Store soon to check out Rayman Adventures. This is the most recent title from Ubisoft which centers on the very popular Rayman. Unlike previous games, this one is free to download, which means it has a hell load of in-app purchases. Rayman Adventures takes you to an adventure where you must do everything in your power to save the Incrediballs. Apart from all that action, you will explore environments in order to find and collect the Incrediballs, your first and foremost objective being to bring them to their home. Every Incrediball has its own power and you can use them to solve puzzles and destroy villains. Visually speaking, the game has no drawbacks, with the environments feeling vibrant and alive for the most part. The main character is also very personable and the other characters can be endearing as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4w2Kulgm74 Rayman Adventures is available in a few different languages and you can find it for free on the Google Play Store via the widget below. Some items will be purchasable with real money, but the in-app purchases can be turned off in the game settings menu apparently.
