Sprint’s LG G Flex gets KitKat update

Sprint’s LG G Flex device gets and Android update to KitKat today. People actually bought the curved device from Sprint on a $300 price on-contract. The update is rolling out automatically in batches so manually trying to update doesn’t necessarily mean you will get the update sooner than expected. The update should roll out to all LG G Flex devices from Sprint by May 7th.

This update is mostly an improvement in the OTA and keeps things wrapped in mystery at the moment. There will be some UI features and tweaks similar to other G2 devices that received the update to KitKat.
