Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 from Sprint just got an update to Android 4.4.2. Now, Sprint Galaxy Tab 3 users can finally take their devices out and check this KitKat update everyone’s been talking about for the past months. You shouldn’t have waited for something extraordinary though, since you probably got the tablet for free or at a cheap price.

The update comes along with the build T217SVPUBNE7 and it includes some of the following changes:

  • SMS App Chooser – users can select default applications for sending and receiving text messages
  • New lock screen access with media controls and camera shortcuts
  • Expanded emoji icons
  • Redesigned navigation bars and status bar – they are now translucent and can sit on top of apps
  • Wireless printing with support for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
  • Consolidated location settings – the new location menu is better integrated and there are more detailed location services
  • Prevention information pop-up message suppressed.

This is the first and most important that the Galaxy Sprint Tab 3 has received and it may as well be the last, so enjoy it while you can!
