The new second gen Moto E is now live and you will be able to get it in the US with $149.99 with LTE. The 3G-only option will be sold for $119.99 and it will be available soon. This version is the GSM one, and not the Verizon locked one.
This “new” device has a better processor, a Snapdragon 410 upgrade from the Snapdragon 200 (the 3G model will retain the slower processor though). The device has a 4.5” 540×960 display and is just 0.2” bigger than the previous model, whereas the RAM remains the same at 1GB with doubled internal storage to 8GB. The new battery is a bit bigger, a 2390mAh cell, and you will also get a secondary VGA camera with that pre-existing 5MP snapper.
This time you can customize your phone with bands that fit around the frame and you can buy them in bundles with pre-exiting colors: turquoise, raspberry and purple or yellow, blue and red. Each set will cost $19.99.
Motorola Moto E second edition is rolling out to more than 50 countries all over Asia, North America, Latin America and Europe.
