Microsoft has been working hard today and it released the final forms of Excel, Word and PowerPoint for Android tablets. The apps have been in preview form for a while now, but the time has come for the final versions to become available to the public.
You can download the apps on tablets only for free if you have at least 1 GB of RAM and an ARM processor. These apps officially support Android 4.4, but we’re pretty sure Lollipop devices will work as well. In order to create files, print them and edit them all you have to do is sign in with your Microsoft account.
If you want some premium features you will require an Office 365 subscription.
OneNote has already been available on Android tablets and phones for a while now.
No particular changes were mentioned in the logs but there must have been some bug fixes at least before launching. You can check the Microsoft apps for tablets below.
