Verizon launched some LG Pads today, and you may have a deal if you buy one on contract. LG G Pad 7.0 and G Pad 10.1 reached the Verizon shelves and you can get them (temporarily) for $49.99 and $199.99 respectively, on contract of course. These sort of budget-friendly tablets have LTE and they’re here just in time for the holidays.
The tablets are modestly packed with Snapdragon 400 processors, 1 GB of RAM and HD displays (1280x800p). The 7.0 has a 4000 mAh battery, whereas the bigger version has a 8000 mAh battery. The devices have LG’s version of Android 4.4.
We do not know how long this promotion will last, and the off-contract costs for the devices are $249.99 for the 7.0 version and $299.99 for the 10 version. They are pretty expensive for basic tablets but we are talking about Verizon after all.
