HTC reportedly working on an octa-core device

HTC is reportedly working on an octa-core-run smartphone. The Taiwanese manufacturer teased its product in a photo which shows a mid-range device Weibo believes could be an octa-core device.

Considering the fact that HTC does not make its own processors, we are safe to assume that the processor will be a Qualcomm chip, probably the already existing Snapdragon 615, a 64-bit octa-core processor which will appear in the new Desire 820 as well.

HTC already has a manufactured device, which means that the ideas regarding a device powered by Snapdragon 810 (one of the most powerful chips for portable devices on the market) will not become reality soon as the powerful chip will probably be used in a new One series phone, the M9, and it is too soon to be talking about that.

Because a mid-range phone is not too much fun to talk about, how about you tell us in the comments below what you would like to see in the next One (M9) device, aka, HTC’s 2015 flagship?
