HTC One E9 will be a new device in the E line with a major redesign and a different stance on the high mid-end spectrum of the niche market. The new and improved phablet is leaked in a TENAA post (TENAA being a Chinese agency similar to FCC) where some pivotal specs are also showing up.
The specs are as follows:
- 5 inch screen with Quad HD
- 3GB of RAM
- 20MP back camera
- 13MP front camera/ 4MP UltraPiexl sensor
- 2800 mAh battery
- 54mm thickness
- MediaTek 64-bit 8-core processor.
We do not know if the device will be available on other than the Chinese market however, since E8 only managed to reach Sprint in the US last year. Even if it is a much different device from its former iteration and looks nothing like the new HTC One M9 flagship, One E9 still looks rather plastic with a metal outer band.
However, this is all speculation and unconfirmed rumor so far, and we will have to wait for official HTC news, which really need a great device considering the not so warm welcome M8 received a few weeks ago.
