HTC Desire 612 is added to Verizon Wireless program starting October 9th. The device will begin being sold at the same time with AT&T’s Desire 610 variant, but it will have some extra branding and a touch more of red.
Desire 612 is supposed to be a mid-range device people can easily afford. It has a 4.7” screen running at 720p HD and it runs on a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor accompanied by 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage plus a microSD slot. It is powered by a 2040 mAh battery and you will find an 8 MP primary sensor accompanied by a 1.3 MP front snapper.
Desire 612 runs Android KitKat 4.4 and it apparently has support for Verizon XLTE network that offers faster data speeds.
The HTC device is available for free on a two-year Verizon contract but you can also acquire it through the Verizon Edge installment plan if you qualify.
