Google finally begins showing images next to most of the devices you can link in the Play Store. Almost all the smartphones that can be linked on Google Store accounts now have images representing them, which means that the shop itself looks more professional and, let’s say it, colorful.
Up until now, only Nexus devices had their own presentation photos, but starting today, almost all devices linked on Google Play can be seen on the site next to app specifications and their possible compatibility with your device. Some images are still low resolutions, while a few Moto phones still lack images, but most smartphones can be seen next to your most recent apps.
There is no added functionality behind this change, but you do get to see your device when you send apps to it.
