Google Admin gets first update in 2014 – see what changed here!

Google Admin gets its first update since 2013 and if you are the administrator of a Google for Work account, you’ll be interested to know what changed. Here you will find some new features related to the management side of business.

Among the new things you can do now is use the 4- digit PIN implementation that works on numerous devices at once. This feature allows you to have all of the spare tablets and or smartphones in a building secured with the same code that you can change regularly. In order to turn the feature on you have to look for the Ask for pin option found under Settings.

Google Admin update also facilitates the option to switch between multiple accounts; you will find the option at the top of the sidebar. Here’s the changelog:

  • Accessibility compliance
  • Sharper icons (reviewed)
  • Switching between multiple accounts
  • Optional 4-digit PIN  accessible to more devices
  • Bug fixes.

If you don’t want to wait for the official update, you can try the APK signed by Google where the cryptographic signature guarantees that the file is safe for download. The update is compatible with Android 4.0 and above.
