Display Brightness is a new Wear app that manages the auto-brightness for the Android watches that don’t have their own light sensors. This is the case of Samsung Gear Live and LG G Watch which don’t have light sensors to adjust their screen’s brightness.
The Display Brightness app takes into consideration your time and location in order to determine how much light the watch screen should have, a pretty clever option. The app uses the network location on users’ phones to calculate the sunrise and sunset times and thus it decides whether to increase or decrease screen brightness. During the night, the brightness is set to low and during the day it is set to medium if the user is standing still or too high if the user is in movement.
Display Brightness is a free app in the Google Play Store and you can find more about it HERE!
