If you’re an Assassin’s Creed lover, you’ll love this bit of news: Ubisoft is launching a companion app for Unity, the franchise’s latest game that will launch tomorrow. Assassin’s Creed Unity will be available exclusively for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and it takes its players to Paris in the time of the French Revolution.

Apart from the old gameplay, the new game introduces co-op multiplayer, which would mean a much longer game.

Following the trends of the most recent world-acclaimed franchises, Ubisoft launches an Android companion app that doesn’t do much without the actual game. You get a 3D map of Paris which makes navigating the town much easier. Of course, you get a database with lots of information, as well as tips and tutorials. You also get heatmaps where you can check how other players are… er, well… playing the game.

Even if you’re not a fan of companion apps and want your own Unity experience, you should give a click and try the game as its puzzles can give you access to exclusive Nomad Brotherhood missions. The mobile game quests can unlock rewards you can get in-game. The game is free on the Google Play Store.
