Archos announced a new line of low-end devices this year and among them is an Android Notebook. ArcBook is a 10.1-inch notebook that will be available for purchase next month. It will be sold for about $169.99 and it doesn’t look too much of a contender for the big market.

A niche product, ArcBook has a RK3168 dual core ARM Cortex A9 at 1.2 GHz, with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage. It will be launched with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean that might be updated this year and is powered by an 8000 mAh battery.

The screen has multitouch technology integration and a  1024x600p resolution. It basically is a low-end tablet with an incorporated keyboard. The laptop will have Google services incorporated, including Office Suite Pro 6.
