Android L (Lemon Meringue Pie) spotted in Chromium issue tracker tests

A recent Android L build was freshly seen on Chromium issue tracker and it seems it has new status icons and tweaked navigation features. The UI seems more refined, especially in the Bluetooth settings screen.

Some of the visual changes in Android L are the status and navigation bars which look more solid and bold. The navigation buttons are more spaced and smaller, and the top is accompanied by a usual clock with a bolder Roboto icon. In the video below you can see Android L running on a Nexus 5 and you can draw your own conclusions as you watch.

These are still just details that can change until the final release of the OS. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait too long before we can try the official Android L release!
